Knowledge Base Search Help

Search the Knowledge Base by entering one or more terms in the Search box at the top of the page. This will perform a full-text search of page titles, keywords, alt text, and solutions body content. The following tips may also help you find the right solution faster:

  • By default, search results return pages that contain all of your search terms. There is no need to include the "AND" operator between terms.

  • Search terms (Keywords) are not case-sensitive.

  • Search terms (Keywords) must be at least 3 characters long.

  • To restrict your search to a particular product, use the product selection field located to the right of the Search For field.

  • To restrict your search to a particular sub-category of a certain product or service, use the field that best matches your category. Only results related to that specific section would be displayed.

  • Please note that restricting your search to a particular product or sub-category may limit the number of results and narrow your search.

  • Use specific words instead of general terms. For example, a search using a long sentence might return fewer, more-targeted listings than a search using one word or a specific term.

  • Phrase Searches: Searches performed on exact phrases will include common words. Phrase searches are especially useful when searching for exact quotes or proper nouns within documents.

  • Use the "Any word" to find any result that will include any of the words in a phrase search.

  • Use the "All words" to find results that include all the words (at no particular order) in the phrase.

  • Use the "Exact Phrase" to search for a specific string that is exactly written as it appears in the search string.
